Football: Which League Is The Most Competitive In Europe

In English Premier League, Chelsea leads the log on 70 points with two games in hand, leading second place Arsenal by four points. In Italian Serie A, Juventus tops the table on 70 points over second place Roma by 14 points. Spain's Liga BBVA is lead by Barcelona on 75 points over
Real Madrid and by two points. Germany's Bundesliga table shows Bayern Munich leading the log on 70 points over Wolfsburg with 10 points. Paris Saint Germain is topping the French's Ligue 1 on 62 points, leading second placed Lyon by one point. The season is winding down gradually.

From the above statistics, it is evident that Italian Serie A might just be the weakest league in Europe as there seem to be no competition in the league. No wonder the clubs from Italy perform poorly in UEFA Champions League. On the other hand, Spain's Liga BBVA is the strongest league. Statistics, they say cannot lie.

It is left for other clubs to rise up and be counted. Football Bookmakers and Analyst may have different views as to which club is the best and which league is the strongest, but the views must be translated into performance by the clubs and respectively management, on and off the pitch.
